Bomi County has clinched the trophee after beating Margibi County 4-3 in post-match penalty kicks after regular time 1-1.
The 90 minutes plus the extra 30 minutes of play had all the beauty of the game. Both goalkeepers were excellent and kept their team in the game.
“It was simply a matter of Bomi winning the match,” said a native of Bomi County. “The 4-3 victory was part of Bomi’s plan, and now let’s see if someone can decide to draw attention to the Blue Lake.”
